Trivantis Announces Responsive Course Design
for Its Desktop Authoring Tool, Lectora

CINCINNATI, OHIO (PRWEB) OCTOBER 14, 2015 - Trivantis®, makers of Lectora® and CourseMill®, announced the addition of Responsive Course Design™ (RCD) in the next desktop version of the popular authoring tool Lectora.

“Responsive Course Design enables users to develop new titles and modify existing ones for the best viewing experience across all devices and orientations,” said John Blackmon, Chief Technology Officer at Trivantis. “It’s a multi-device world we live in, and Trivantis is bringing you the tools you need to produce eLearning content for all of them. With Lectora, you can truly publish once and distribute everywhere.”

Responsive Course Design (patent pending) is currently in beta and will soon be available in the upcoming Lectora 16 release. Developers can design once for desktop, and content will be automatically sized and positioned for landscape and portrait views on tablets and phones. With RCD, eLearning developers no longer need to test a course for fit on each new device.

Beta testers have praised RCD and the benefits it provides those creating mobile training. “After a much anticipated responsive design release, Trivantis once again has delivered a high caliber product that offers all the robust capabilities of Lectora desktop, now a mobile centric format that is easy to use and makes responsive mobile for multiple devices much, much, easier for developers,” said Jason Guest, IBM Learning Sales Manager.

The RCD beta for Lectora desktop is now open. Those interested in beta testing Lectora’s Responsive Course Design can apply to be a beta tester.
