Trivantis Announces Responsive Course Design in Lectora

Popular mLearning Feature Now Available in All Lectora Tools

Cincinnati, Ohio – December 16, 2015 – Trivantis®, makers of Lectora® and CourseMill®, announced the release of Lectora 16 authoring tool with Responsive Course Design™ (RCD) for mobile course development.

“Responsive Course Design means that eLearning developers only need to design once, in the desktop view. Content is automatically sized and positioned for mobile views,” said John Blackmon, Chief Technology Officer at Trivantis. “Lectora Online users are loving our new solution for quick, effective mobile course development, and we’re excited to bring it to our Lectora desktop users too.”

Longtime Lectora developers may experience curiosity over the jump from Lectora 12 to Lectora 16. “2016 marks Trivantis' 16th year of business, so we wanted to share the celebration by making the latest version of Lectora be 16,” said Blackmon. “If you've had a chance to get into the product you'll also notice quite a few changes, including the addition of Responsive Course Design. We wanted people to know that a lot of effort has gone into this release and to expect some great new advancements in course development in Lectora 16.”

In addition to Responsive Course Design (patent pending), Lectora 16 now includes additional status action condition relationships, inline variable replacement, and more.

Those interested can sign up for a free 30-day trial and may upgrade to a full license at any time.
