Use the technical specifications below to guide you when using text, shape, button, and image effects and publishing titles to Internet Explorer 8 or 9. You will also find these notes throughout the Help as it relates to the appropriate feature.

Limitations
Will not render a shadow or reflection if the object has been rotated, flipped, or has a reduced opacity (less than 100)

Buttons using shapes are active in entire object container, not just within the shape.
Internet Explorer 8
Seamless Play publishing is not supported in IE 8. Titles will display as though using non-Seamless Play.
Shape and Image Effects will not render in IE8
WCAG focus indicator will not render in IE 8. The browser’s default focus indicator will be used.
Button Effects
Limitations
Buttons will not display rotated in IE 8 (Unique to Lectora Desktop)
Text Block Shadow
Limitations
Will not render shadow if the object has been rotated, flipped, or has a reduced opacity (less than 100)
Will not render if the shadow distance is 0
Rendered using Microsoft filters (CSS 2 Compliant)
