Installation instructions:

  1. Download the Setup.exe file.
  2. Double-click the Setup.exe file.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note:

If you attempt to install this on a Windows XP device, but do not run the installation file as an Administrator, you will receive a patch error that will prevent you from updating Lectora.

To successfully run the update, run the .exe file as an Administrator. You can access this option by right-clicking on the .exe file. Refer to your Windows documentation for information about running files as an Administrator.

Fixes:

  • Editors within Preferences are now populated when Lectora is launched by a non-Admin user.
  • Questions will now score properly when soft returns are used in the answer text.
  • Apostrophes and quotation marks used in question choices will not prevent feedback from displaying in IE8 and IE9.
  • Zooming in and out in the Editor will not affect the site of Hot Spots.
  • Completion status tracking is properly stored in suspend data when content is published to SCORM/AICC, allowing users to successfully retain individual status when the content is launched from an LMS.
  • Value entered for button width or height can now successfully exceed the dimensions of the page.
  • Actions for audio and video events retain the action when the event time is modified.
  • Status Tracking "Is completed" condition is updated when status changes within the current page.
  • Added security settings in Java title manager to meet new Java requirements as of update 51.

Translated Versions

  • Fonts with names that have non-ASCII characters no longer prevent the font from being applied to text blocks.

  • Changing Default Text Style on Chinese machine will update all text, including non-ASCII characters.

Actions

  • Change Character Pose actions in audio events no longer display a blurred character image.
  • Wipe right and Wipe down transitions no longer prevent On Show actions from triggering on the object.
  • Status Tracking "Is completed" condition is updated when status changes within the current page.
  • Error fixed when On Hide Display Message action attached to an object is triggered when leaving a page.
  • Resize action will run correctly at all selected speeds when published to HTML.
  • Selecting the last action listed in the Action Pane will now behave as expected.

Objects and Text

  • Importing a title's XML with an MP4 video now imports the MP4 video correctly.
  • Importing an LO package file with a menu will successfully load the object.
  • Status indicators for frameless Table of Contents will now hide when Toggle Show or Hide action is triggered.
  • Indented Table of Contents now includes empty ALT tags for status icons and placeholder images for Section 508/WCAG compliance.
  • Objects with Float up and Float down transitions will appear in the specified location.
  • Progress bar “Retain Value” property is maintained when a title is saved and reopened.
  • Droplist Table of Contents will no longer get into a state where status indicators are incorrectly displayed in Run/Preview mode.
