The Trivantis team had a great time exhibiting and presenting at this year’s Learning Solutions Conference and Expo. Our developers, trainers, sales representatives and product managers all came to sunny Orlando to spend time talking about e-Learning, gamification, mobile development and more. If you weren’t lucky enough to attend, here’s what you missed.
On Wednesday, Director of Training Tara Medeiros presented at the Training Technologies Learning Stage. In her session, “Lectora®: Developing at the Speed of Need,” Tara spoke about the many ways Lectora can help the everyday developer create engaging and sophisticated content quickly and efficiently. You can review our recorded Inspiration Wednesday webinars to learn more from Tara here: Recorded Webinars.
On Thursday morning, Product Manager Daryl Fleary led a concurrent session on “Gaming Logic: Building Games for Instructional Purposes.” In this session, Daryl taught about both structural and instructional considerations for creating games as well as game placement, scoring and language. If you’re interested in gamification, check out our Intro to Gaming Course.
Back on the Learning Stage, Daryl also presented best practices in his session, “Team Collaboration with Lectora® Online.” Check out our blog post on how versioning is used in this great how-to blog: Version Control in Lectora Online.
Throughout the conference, we challenged folks who stopped by our booth to complete a scavenger hunt for a chance to win a license of Lectora® Inspire. Congratulations to Debra Westlake on the win!
Last, but not least, we had a blast being across the aisle from the eLearning Brothers so that we could announce our new partnership! We’re thrilled to reveal that Lectora Inspire will now include the eLearning Brothers Template Library, Cutout People Library and Interaction Builder.

In the upcoming Lectora 12.1 release, you’ll find the eLearning Brothers libraries integrated directly inside of Lectora so that you can immediately begin creating rockstar courses!
Thanks to the brothers for helping us celebrate by giving out three Lectora Inspire licenses, and congrats to Red Resener, Alis Nikolson and Claudia Zea!
Finally, thanks to the eLearning Guild for putting on a great event. We can’t wait for next year!
