They say some things are only possible “when pigs fly,” but at the 2017 Lectora® User Conference, we saw both incredible eLearning AND a few flying pigs. With a theme of “Mission: Possible,” LUC 2017 was all about the creative and innovative uses of Lectora, CourseMill®, and ReviewLink™. And the flying pigs we tucked in attendee tote bags served as inspiration, plus a fun nod to Cincinnati, Ohio—location of the conference and Trivantis® Headquarters.

Right: me at the registration desk, ready to check in attendees for the conference!Karl Kapp kicked off the conference with his interactive keynote presentation, where he involved the audience in a search for the missing game designer—who held the clues to solve the mystery of the secret to engaging learning.

The conference had a few new additions too, including 7-minute Lightning Talks and a User Showcase at the Networking Reception. (And back by popular request, a few decks of Cards Against eLearning were available to play at the reception!)

Special thanks to our exhibitors at LUC 2017: GoAnimate, BranchTrack, RELATE, and the eLearning Brothers. Rick Zanotti from RELATE did another “Lectora Live Stream” series of videos from LUC 2017 this year, which included great interviews with Karl Kapp, LUC attendees, Trivantis Team members, and fellow exhibitors.

Finally, thanks to our customers who attended the 2017 Lectora User Conference, including those that presented a breakout session, lightning talk, or at the User Showcase! It was a pleasure for me to meet more of you, especially those who I had previously spoken to on the phone—I know my teammates here at Trivantis would agree. If you’d like to continue connecting with people from the conference, join the LUC 2017 conversation on the Trivantis Community. Plus, even if you weren’t able to attend, you can enter the Mission: Possible themed Lectora Contest.
