A vector image is an image that allows you to edit it later. Vector images are a great way to make your e-Learning course look stellar! You can create vector images on top of images that you captured using Snagit®, a powerful screen capture tool included with Lectora® Inspire e-Learning software. In this e-Learning Lesson in Lectora, you’ll learn how to use Snagit to create a basic vector image, which can open tons of new opportunities for creativity in your e-Learning course.Follow the steps below to create a vector image in Snagit:Select the text tool, and make sure the “Create as Vector” feature is turned on.
Then, create a text object and click off the object. When you click back on the object, you can edit it however you want.
If you turn off “Create as Vector,” the vector feature will be disabled, and you won’t be able to edit the image once you click off the object. When you’re working with vector objects, you should save your file to the Snagit format so that you can edit the vectors later. However, if you’re saving your file to a flattened version (.jpg or .png), you should finish all your edits before saving it.
